The proposals for Stormont Road involved the refurbishment and extension of an existing high-end residential property in one of the London's most prestigious postcodes.
The approach required the internal reconfiguration of the existing entrance storey to create a contemporary and open-plan living space, as well as updating the building’s existing 1980’s interior decor.
The additional volume allows panoramic views of the rear garden and external terrace space to the upper storeys whilst providing a material contrast to the existing brickwork elevational treatment.
Slender steel glazing profiles and fenestration articulate the large openings and frame the external stucco render finish resulting in an elegant addition to the existing property.
