New Work: Islington South Family Hub
TPM Studio has been appointed by the London Borough of Islington to design a new Family Hub at Ironmonger Row, following a successful competition entry.
The project brings together the existing Kings Square Community Nursery and Toffee Park Adventure Playground to create an integrated, accessible facility that supports the borough’s Bright Starts and Bright Futures programmes.
The design approach focuses on retaining and adapting the existing buildings where possible, embedding social value and sustainable principles while creating a cohesive and welcoming environment, with ongoing engagement across council teams and local stakeholders helping to shape a facility that responds to the needs of the community.
